SoCal Headshots by Michael Anthony Studios is a Los Angeles Headshot Photography studio specializing in business headshots for doctors, lawyers, actors, models, and all other professionals.  

Michael (center) has traveled around the world to photograph many different people.  Michael and Jen have earned over 50 awards in international image competition, have have taught photography lighting, posing, and business to photographers all over the country.  Michael's work has been featured by many different publications, such as The Huffington Post, The Knot Magazine, and many,  many more.  Michael writes a monthly column for the photography trade magazine Shutter, the largest photography industry publication in the world with distribution in Barnes and Noble.  Michael is a former Los Angeles Police Officer before leaving the force in 2013 to pursue photography full time.

Jennifer (left) is Michael's wife and an award-winning photographer herself.  Jennifer is the owner of Marilyn Lou Boudoir, Los Angeles's leading photography studio for boudoir portraiture.  Jennifer is also a registered nurse, leaving her profession to also pursue photography full time.  

Michael and Jennifer's work has taken them to 8 different countries, and as avid travelers, they are constantly drawing inspiration from some of the most beautiful places in the world.  Courtney (right), our brand manager is in charge of ensuring an incredible client experience from start to finish and keeps our office and business organized to provide the best possible service to all of our clients around the world.

Our Studio

Our studio is located at 25031 Ave Stanford, #60, in Valencia, California.  Our studio features over 900 sq ft of shooting space,  along with the latest Profoto lighting equipment.  We use the latest technology with 50mp cameras, professional lenses, and gorgeous lighting setups to create the look that best compliments our clients.

Our Style

Our style of photography is modern, clean, and elegant.  We want your headshots to get as much mileage as they can.  We have found that studio backdrops offer the best versatility for different use, and we study each client's expressions and personality in order to fine-tune each individual session toward them.  There is artistry involved in what we do, and we take our craft very seriously as we believe your images should convey your desired message.
